Delirious started out as a computer application developed for the 3rd year Multimedia class, during the Communication Design course. The briefing was simple: present a manifesto in a non-linear narrative, in the form of a multimedia application. The manifesto chosen was Delirious New York – a Retroactive Manifesto, by Rem Koolhaas. The app developed and all the graphic materials that followed it were an attempt to celebrate 10 groundbreaking concepts that were experimented in New York during its development, according to Koolhaas, and lead to the everlasting fascination people nurture for Manhattan. The booklet that accompanied the CD represented these concepts through iconic pictures of New York in a direct relation to the excerpt of the book which presented each of the concepts.

Academic project developed by Lisa Moura, Miguel Santana and Raquel Silva
